Dozens of rescuers worked tirelessly from Saturday night to Sunday in a futile effort to find more victims under the rubble of the building destroyed by an explosion in The Hague.
At least five people died on Saturday in the collapse of the two-storey building, but firefighters managed to pull one person alive from the debris in the evening.
A total of four injured individuals were taken to the hospital, according to firefighters. Authorities were unable to determine how many people might still be trapped under the rubble.
The building housed shops on the ground floor and five apartments over two storeys. The cause of the explosion is still unknown but police are seeking a vehicle that was observed speeding away from the scene shortly before the explosion.
