BNP Paribas Fortis, Fintro, and Hello Bank! will reduce the loyalty bonus on the Compte d’épargne Plus” regulated savings account from January 1st next year due to current market conditions.

The classic savings accounts are not affected by this change. The current loyalty bonus of 1.25% remains valid for deposits made on the savings account until December 31st.

From 1 January, the new loyalty bonus of 1.00% will apply to new deposits and renewed 12-month loyalty periods. The base rate will remain unchanged at 0.50%.

The loyalty bonus is earned on amounts that stay in the regulated savings account uninterrupted for 12 months after deposit or renewal, the bank group specified. The interest rates on standard regulated savings accounts at the three banks will remain unchanged.

The base interest rate continues to be 0.50%, and the loyalty bonus stays at 0.25%. However, the bank group warns that due to market conditions, these rates may be adjusted at any time. Customers will be informed of any changes through their account statements.
