Dutch police arrested a 20-year-old Belgian involved in a fatal car accident on the A67 near Eersel, close to the Belgian border, on Friday evening.
The Belgian national was driving the car. One passenger did not survive and three others were injured.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still being investigated.
According to Dutch police, the vehicle swerved unexpectedly, causing the driver to lose control.
"The car crashed, and one person was ejected from the vehicle," police stated. "The victim was then hit by several other cars and unfortunately did not survive."
