Brussels Airport experienced slight delays on Saturday morning due to poor weather and limited visibility.
There were slight delays in the morning but the situation is now improving according to a spokesperson. The airport expects flights to return to normal by 13:00.
On Saturday morning, Brussels Airport saw delays of 30 minutes to one hour for both arriving and departing flights.
Arriving flights were particularly affected by weather conditions, the spokesperson said.
Delays for departing flights were also often related to conditions at the destination airport.
In the coming hours, dozens of flights are expected to continue experiencing delays at Brussels Airport.
However, "the situation is getting better, and everything should be back to normal by 13:00."
Other European airports are also facing challenges due to the weather. Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport had to cancel dozens of flights on Saturday morning because of the fog.
