The Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) has issued a yellow alert for slippery conditions from 16:00 on Monday until 12:00 on Tuesday for the provinces of Liège and Luxembourg.
On Monday evening and overnight into Tuesday, frost or ice patches may form in the east and southeast of the country. Light freezing drizzle and snow is also possible until noon on Tuesday, primarily in the province of Luxembourg.
The RMI also warns of fog in the same provinces and has issued a yellow alert for this from 17:00 on Monday until 13:00 on Tuesday.
Widespread freezing fog could reduce visibility to less than 200 metres in the Ardennes, according to the RMI.
