Belgium’s Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) has issued a yellow weather warning for wind on Monday from 10 am to 4 pm for the coast and the provinces of Liège and Luxembourg.
Gusts of up to 90 km/h are expected.
The provinces of Namur and Luxembourg are already under a yellow warning this Sunday, continuing until Monday evening, due to heavy rainfall.
“Between Sunday evening and Monday evening, we expect further precipitation accumulations of 25 to 35 mm, mainly in the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg. Including the rainfall from Sunday, the total accumulation over these two days could locally reach 50 to 70 mm in these provinces,” the institute warns.
