Place De Brouckère and part of Boulevard Anspach were closed on Monday for safety reasons due to strong winds being felt in Brussels.
Wooden panels fell from a construction site at Place De Brouckère onto the public road, according to Brussels police.
Additional panels are at risk of falling. The police established a safety perimeter at the request of the fire brigade.
