Several hundred passengers from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany have been stranded in the Namibian capital Windhoek since Friday.
Their return flight to Frankfurt with Discover Airlines has been unable to take off for four days due to a technical problem, the Dutch newspaper Telegraaf reported on Monday.
Passengers, who still have no return flight to Frankfurt, reported their plight to the Dutch media anonymously, fearing they might lose the chance of a flight back to Europe.
"We are like Lufthansa's plaything," one passenger said.
Flights to Europe from Namibia, a southern African country, are typically limited to one per day and are operated by the German airline Discover Airlines, which is a daughter company of Lufthansa. Lufthansa also owns Brussels Airlines.
