Namur-based company Sourse has announced the completion of a €3.65 million fundraising round. The funds come from Ethias Group's venture capital fund, Namur Invest, and a private investor.

Sourse (formerly Stratos Solution) specialises in infrastructure monitoring and natural disaster prevention. It uses aerial means, technology, including thermal cameras, and risk detection algorithms to collect and analyse data.

With the new investment, Sourse aims to accelerate its technological deployment and strengthen its presence in new markets. Its ambition is to speed up commercialisation while continuing to innovate.

"This fundraising marks a historic turning point for Sourse," said the founder and chair of the board, Benjamin de Broqueville. "It reflects our investors' confidence in our technology's potential and our vision."

Sourse operates in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. It employs around 20 people.
