A new flight route from Brussels to Bordeaux will be available from the end of March.
At the end of March, easyJet will launch a connection between Brussels Airport in Zaventem and Bordeaux Airport in the southwest of France. Transavia will launch the same route later in the year.
EasyJet will fly twice a week between Zaventem and Bordeaux from 31 March, on Mondays and Fridays. The French city will be easyJet's fifth destination from Brussels Airport, the airport announced Friday on the messaging service X (formerly Twitter).

"With a new route to the charming French city Bordeaux, easyJet will soon expand its current network to five destinations from Brussels Airport!" it said.
Airline Transavia, a daughter company of the French-Dutch airline group Air France-KLM, also plans to offer the same route. The connection will be available from 18 April on Mondays and Fridays, according to its website.
It was previously announced that Transavia will connect Brussels Airport with the southern French city of Montpellier from 10 April, on Thursdays and Sundays.
