Tonnes of suspected stolen cables seized in Belgium and northern France

Belgian and French authorities have confiscated approximately 3.6 tonnes of suspected stolen cables during coordinated actions at recycling companies.

The operations took place in Northern France and Belgium, according to the Nord prefecture.

In Mouscron, 1.3 tonnes of stolen cables were uncovered, while 2 tonnes were discovered in Lille.

Several suspects have been detained.
