The pro-Russian hacker collective NoName057 has once again taken several Belgian Government websites offline.

The government portal MyGov.be is among those inaccessible and the website of the Walloon Parliament was also offline for a while.

The group announced on their Telegram channel that the attack is in response to a new €1 billion support package from Belgium to Ukraine.

The attack is a relatively harmless DDoS attack. Servers are “bombarded” with requests, causing them to become overloaded and unavailable to legitimate users.

However, hackers cannot steal data using this method.
