In the Antwerp district of Deurne, local police have arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of dealing drugs.
The boy used a scooter to deliver cocaine to customers. A neighbourhood team of Antwerp police observed how a scooter rider briefly interacted with a pedestrian on Frans Baetensstraat, suspecting a drug deal had taken place.
Both individuals were subsequently searched, and cocaine was found to have been sold. The boy on the scooter had four packages of cocaine and €455 in cash on him.
The police decided to conduct a house search and discovered an additional €8,800 in cash. Investigators also confiscated the boy’s mobile phone.
The juvenile judge has imposed appropriate measures on the young dealer.
