Pairi Daiza plans to hire 100 new employees proficient in Dutch this year to better serve its growing number of Flemish and Dutch visitors.

The animal park, located in Brugelette, Hainaut, announced this initiative on Tuesday.

One in three of the park’s 300 newly opened positions specifies Dutch language skills as either a requirement or an advantage.

Fluent Dutch is crucial for roles in reception, communication, and sales. Even in the animal care team, language skills make a difference, especially in interactions with visitors, the press, or during educational events.

Pairi Daiza offers permanent jobs, seasonal contracts, flexible jobs, and student positions.

The available positions are listed on the park’s website.

Pairi Daiza will hold five ‘job days’ on 26 and 27 March and on 9, 16, and 17 April.

Interested candidates must first apply online for their chosen vacancy.

Selected candidates will receive an email with all the necessary details to participate in one of the job days.
