A Belgian citizen is among the fatalities of last week's earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand, the Foreign Office confirmed on Monday.
His body was found in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
French-language media reported that the 53-year-old man was holidaying in Southeast Asia and was from Saint-Ghislain, Hainaut.
His body was discovered under a collapsed 30-storey tower that was under construction in a Bangkok neighbourhood.
The earthquake struck on 28 March, with its epicentre in Myanmar, but tremors were felt as far as Thailand, Laos, and China.
Official figures indicate that at least 2,000 people have died in the disaster.
