Dense fog may reduce visibility to less than 200 metres in many areas on Friday morning, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
The IRM has issued a yellow fog alert for Walloon Brabant, Hainaut, the Brussels Region, and Flanders. The alert is in effect from 05:00 until 10:00.
Once the fog clears, sunny weather is expected with some high clouds. Maximum temperatures will range from 14°C at the coast to 20°C inland. Initially, the wind will be light and variable, shifting to north-northeast later.
During the evening and night, the weather will be calm and the skies clear. Minimum temperatures will be between 1°C and 9°C, with light winds in most regions.
On Saturday, increasing high-altitude clouds will move in from the French border. A shower may occur in the evening. Temperatures will be warm, ranging from 20°C to 25°C.
