A 22-year-old bartender from Café Zeezicht on Dageraadplaats in Antwerp has been arrested on suspicion of intoxicating and raping seven young women after closing time, De Morgen reported on Thursday.
The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office had yet to confirm the news.
Lawyer Manon Cop is representing two of the victims, who filed complaints last month. “We are awaiting the investigation with all serenity,” said Cop, who declined to comment further.
