On Friday evening, a new shooting occurred on Bergensesteenweg in the Kuregem neighbourhood of Anderlecht, according to reports from HLN and La DH.
The Brussels-South police zone confirmed the incident. The shooting happened shortly before 21:00, resulting in one person being injured and currently in critical condition.
The perpetrators have not yet been apprehended. The police announced that an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
For the time being, the public prosecutor’s office and police will not provide further comments to protect the investigation’s integrity.
