During a recent police operation targeting drug-related violence in Charleroi, three house searches led to the arrest of 11 individuals, the Charleroi Public Prosecutor’s Office announced on Thursday afternoon.
About 100 officers from the Federal Judicial Police of Charleroi and the local police district participated in the operation.
The police seized drugs, several thousand euros, a firearm with ammunition, and knives.
The operation was launched following the establishment of a task force by judicial authorities, prompted by a series of violent incidents linked to drug trafficking in Charleroi.
