Norenca N.V., in collaboration with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), is recalling a batch of its Norenca and Spar marinated turkey kebabs (3 and 16 pieces) due to possible Salmonella contamination.

The  kebabs, sold from 24 April, bear the batch number 02517113 and have an expiration date of 30/04/2025.

Consumers are advised not to consume the turkey skewers and to return them to the place of purchase.

Possible symptoms of a Salmonella infection include fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhoea, typically occurring 12 to 48 hours after consuming contaminated food. The risk is higher for the elderly, children, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems.

Anyone who has consumed these products and experiences such symptoms should contact their doctor immediately and mention this consumption.

For further information, consumers can reach the Norenca company at info@norenca.be or by calling 014/58.45.11.
