Brussels Airport is preparing for 80,000 travellers on Wednesday, 8,000 more than initially expected, following a strike that led to the cancellation of all departing flights on Tuesday.
The airport advises passengers to arrive early: two hours before flights within the Schengen Zone and three hours for those outside it.
Online check-in is recommended, and due to crowded parking facilities, travellers are encouraged to use public transport.
In Charleroi, an increase in departing passengers is also anticipated, with 20,000 expected on Wednesday. Passengers are advised to arrive three hours before departure, while two additional flights from Pegasus Airlines have been scheduled.
An increase in arriving passengers is also expected.
