Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever (N-VA) will travel to The Hague next week to meet with his Dutch counterpart Dick Schoof, De Wever's press office announced on Wednesday.
The meeting will take place in the late afternoon on 6 May. It will be followed by a dinner where the leaders will discuss geopolitical developments, the war in Ukraine and bilateral relations.
They will also address the importance of strong European cooperation, focusing on defence and competitiveness.
The two leaders have met several times in recent months during Benelux, EU, and international meetings. However, this visit marks the first time Bart De Wever will be hosted at the Catshuis, the official residence of the Dutch Prime Minister in The Hague.
Dick Schoof, an independent, leads a right-wing and far-right coalition spearheaded by Geert Wilders' party PVV.
