Fnac will open a third store in Brussels in the Woluwe Shopping Center, reports L'Echo.
The French retail chain selling electronic products has added another store to the 13 shops already in Belgium, with the company continuing to expand and turn in record profits.
The new Woluwe store is set to open at the end of May and will have a surface area of 2,6o0 m2.
Fnac record turnover
With the cost of living increasing, consumer confidence in Belgium has been low. However, Fnac had enough certainty from its 2021 figures to set up another shop. In 2021, it saw a record turnover of over €8 billion and sales rising by 7% in just one year.

Opening a store in the wealthy Woluwe area, with a customer base of high purchasing power and central location, "will undoubtedly considerably strengthen Fnac's presence in the market, particularly in the east of Brussels," said Eurocommercial Properties.
The other existing Fnac stores in Brussels are located in Galerie Toison D'Or in Ixelles and the shopping mall City 2 in Brussels city centre.
