On Monday afternoon, a cyclist found herself stuck beneath a coach in Koekelberg.
At 17:30, firefighters were called to Place Eugène Simonis to free a cyclist, who was trapped under an empty coach, a spokesperson told Belga News Agency.
The fire services managed to free the victim and the bike, but the victim was reported to have suffered an open fracture to her ankle.

The vehicle was not carrying any passengers and was owned by a private coach company.
The circumstances of the accident must still be determined.
