On Thursday evening, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran was spotted having dinner in Michelin-starred restaurant The Jane in Antwerp, where he played a 40-minute private concert for the other guests.
Sheeran is in Belgium for his '+-=x' tour, which will see him perform in the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 July, but on Thursday he gave luxury diners a taste of what is to come.
"Ed Sheeran proposed to do a karaoke [to star chef Nick Bril], after which he gave a 40-minute mini-concert. The guests were super enthusiastic, everyone joined in. They were all standing around, dancing and singing," Floor Zengerink, a staff member at The Jane told Het Nieuwsblad.

Posts on social media show that Sheeran was in a good mood and refused to let go of the microphone. During the concert, he sang a number of songs by various artists, as well as some of his own.
Although some guests have tagged a lookalike of the artist in their videos, it was the real popstar. Afterwards, he also willingly posed with the restaurant's staff.
