The number of psychological problems faced by the population peaked during the Covid-19 pandemic, Het Nieuwsblad reports.
To prevent this from spreading to children, the Federal Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke has reformed psychological care in schools.

As a result, external psychologists rather than guidance counsellors will visit schools and offer group sessions to pupils on a voluntary basis during after school hours.
Furthermore, plans are being put in place for parents who have to deal with an aggressive or depressed child at a young age.
