If you are looking for an unusual, exotic getaway, there’s no need to travel thousands of miles. While you will still need to board a plane for this trip, it won't be going very far.
Of all the things to do in a plane's cockpit, sleeping ordinarily isn't one of them, however, the concept of an overnight stay in one is nothing new. Now, it can even be done in Bilzen, just over an hour from Brussels, where is it possible to spend the night in an Antonov An-2, a Soviet-era plane.
The plane is full of all the comforts necessary to spend a night in great luxury. Visitors will find a double bed, minibar, smart TV, coffee machine and even includes breakfast on board.
Outside, a jacuzzi and a barbecue allow you to enjoy the mild summer evenings in the great outdoors, and there is a petanque and badminton court.

The first flight of this model dates back to 1947 and since then more than 18,000 of this type of aircraft have been produced. At one time it was considered the largest single-engine, metal-construction biplane ever built.
