Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo met on Monday evening in Stavanger, Norway, with the founder of U.S. companies Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, Belga News Agency reported.
Their meeting took place on the sidelines of the Offshore Northern Seas Conference, an international conference on energy that brings together politicians, entrepreneurs, opinion leaders and academics.
Mr. De Croo had pleaded earlier in the day for the setting of a European price cap for natural gas.
Mr. Musk, for his part, said he was in favour of the continuation of the activities of nuclear power plants.
