Two people died following a collision between a motorbike and bicycle on Sunday afternoon in Genk.
The rider of the motorcycle was a 40-year-old man from the Flemish municipality of Lanaken. The cyclist came from Genk and was 85 years old. Both died at the scene of the accident.
A second person, a 37-year-old woman, was riding on the back of the motorbike and became seriously injured as a result of the accident.

The Limburg Public Prosecutor’s Office has appointed an expert to determine the exact circumstances of the accident, which are now being investigated.
