A house in Watermael-Boitsfort has been temporarily rendered uninhabitable after a fire broke out on Sunday night. Thankfully, none of the residents were injured.
The Brussels Fire Brigade were called to a house on Avenue Louis Vander Swaelemen shortly after 02:00, after a fire started in one of the house's rooms, before spreading through the wooden floor to the floor below.

The three residents managed to get to safety before the fire services arrived, but the damage provoked by the flames has rendered the house uninhabitable.
According to a spokesperson for the Brussels Fire Brigade, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
