After a truck collided with multiple vehicles near the Flemish municipality of Sint-Anna Linkeroever, there was severe traffic in both directions on the E34 motorway.
The accident occurred at 05:45, when the truck drove around the bend, through the concrete median strip, and collided with several other vehicles.
As a result, the Flemish Traffic Centre has advised motorists to avoid that section of the E34, as major traffic bottlenecks are expected to worsen in the coming hours.
