Nine youth movements are joining forces for the 22nd Youth Movement Day. On Friday, children and young people can enjoy some 150 activities at various locations in Flanders and Brussels.
From a mass breakfast to squares full of bouncy castles: nine youth movements will honour their members and leaders with numerous activities.
Chirojeugd Vlaanderen, Evangelisch Jeugdverbond, FOS Open Scouting, IJD, Jeugd Rode Kruis, JNM, KLJ, KSA and Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen together organise Youth Movement Day and invite their members to go to school or work in the group uniforms today.

By doing so, organisers hope to attract new members but also emphasise togetherness: "A quality that is more important than ever in times of crisis," said Lot De Kimpe, national president of KLJ.
Together, the nine organisations have some 288,000 members and leaders – a slight increase on last year. All initiatives can be found on the Youth Movement Day website.
