A family of four was taken into hospital on Sunday afternoon after suffering severe carbon monoxide poisoning in Brussels.
At around 16:30, emergency services were called to a family home on Avenue de la Reine, after an individual had apparently fainted.
When the paramedics entered the residence, their CO detector went off, which resulted in the Brussels Fire Brigade being called. As a result, the family was evacuated while all of the windows in the house were opened.
