One lucky Belgian pocketed €280,000 out of the total €65 million prize on Tuesday, after picking five correct numbers and a winning star. Another person from Europe also won the same amount.
An additional 28 Belgians walked away with just under €150 after ticking four correct numbers, as well as a star.
This €280,000 jackpot is one of a string of Belgian victories in recent years. In 2016, a Schaerbeek resident won €168 million on the Euromillions.
At the end of March, a refugee at the port of Zeebrugge won €250,000 on a scratch card, but disappeared, only emerging months later.
