In the run-up to the end-of-year holidays, recent figures released by the Westtoer tourism office show that there are 30% more online bookings to the Belgian coast this year than in 2021.
On Wednesday, the West Flanders tourist board Westtoer announced that the number of online bookings to the Belgian seaside during this year's Christmas holidays has increased by 30% compared to 2021.
As these are the first end-of-year holidays without any Covid-19 restrictions since the start of the pandemic, Westtoer's figures come as good news for the Belgian seaside, with most bookings coming in first week of holidays.
