On Saturday morning, rail traffic was interrupted between Bruges and Ostend after a person was stuck by a train. By the afternoon, traffic had been resumed with Infrabel still expecting some delays.
At around 07:45 on Saturday, a train collided with a person in the Flemish municipality of Audembourg. As a result, Infrabel announced that train traffic had been suspended between Bruges and Ostend. In the meantime, a shuttle bus had been set up by the SNCB/NMBS.

By early Saturday afternoon, that rail traffic had been able to resume in both directions but Infrabel still expect there to be residual delays on the line.
