On Saturday, AFSCA announced that they had decided to recall jelly beans sold by the brands Jelly Straws and Speshow from Belgian stores.
The agency explains that these products included the prohibited additives E 407 and E 410, which by themselves "do not pose a health hazard," but "may cause a risk of choking, especially among less attentive children" as they make the sweets more solid and harder to swallow.
