On Thursday, Pukkelpop announced two more major acts for this summer's festival. Belgian singer Angèle and British singer Anne-Marie will take to the main stage on Saturday 19 August.
Not only a singer/songwriter, Angèle has also produced records and had acting roles. The star began her career singing in cafés and bars in Brussels before she released her famous song, 'Le Loi de Murphy' in 2017. In 2020, Angèle was featured in Dua Lipa's song 'Fever'. It won't be her first time at Pukkelpop – the young artist performed at Dance Hall in 2018.
Also on the lineup is MTV music video award winner Anne-Marie. Pukkelpop describes Anne-Marie as, "one of the world's most-loved and successful pop stars." The English pop singer is most famous for her song 'FRIENDS', which was released in 2018 and was nominated for four awards.
Anne-Marie is also famous for her song shared with James Arthur, 'Rewrite The Stars' from the movie 'The Greatest Showman'. Currently, her fans are anticipating her newest song, 'Sad Bitch', which is to be released on Friday.
After Thursday's announcement, there are now three names on the list including Billie Eilish who will perform on Friday 18 August. There will be another name announced on Friday.
