Summer scorcher: Next week's forecast

After a warm and sunny weekend, summer weather will still be on the menu next week.

On Monday, the weather will remain sunny, with a few cumuliform clouds forming during the day. Highs will reach 28 to 31 degrees in most areas, and 25 to 27 degrees in the Ardennes.

The wind will be light to moderate from the east to east-south-east. At the coast, a sea breeze will develop in the afternoon, from the north-east.

Tuesday, the sun will share the sky with a few cloud at most. Temperatures will reach 23 degrees in the High Fens or along the coast and 27 to 28 degrees in the lowlands. The wind will be moderate from the east to north-east.

On Wednesday, after a very sunny morning, slightly more cumuliform clouds will develop in the afternoon. The weather will remain dry, however. Highs will be between 22 or 23 degrees in the upper Ardennes and 27 to 28 degrees in the lowlands. The wind will be light to moderate from the east to the north-east.

The following day, clouds will roll in again in the afternoon over most areas. At the end of the day, localised showers cannot be ruled out over the east of the country. Highs will be between 22 and 28 degrees with a still light to moderate north-easterly wind.

On Friday, the sun will once again dominate over all regions with the possibility of some cloudy spells over the Ardennes. The highs will drop slightly under the influence of a more maritime flow with values between 19 and 26 degrees.

Finally, the weather will be very sunny again next weekend, with temperatures that could once again reach 30 degrees on Sunday.
