Bonuses worth a total of over €2 billion have already been paid out to households in bonuses for gas and electricity bills.
Nearly 10 million bonuses have already been granted, the FPS Economy announced in a press release on Monday. People who have not yet taken any steps to apply for the 2nd package have until the end of this month to come forward.
An initial basic package had been granted by the authorities to cope with rising energy prices, amounting to €270 in aid for the months of November and December 2022.
