Images of stars such as Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Morgan Freeman will grace city-centre streets, buses and trams in Ghent, as the East Flanders capital celebrates the 50th anniversary of its world-famous film festival with a series of memorable photos.
The Ghent Film Festival has chosen around 20 iconic pics for the photographic campaign, which showcases highlights from the previous 49 editions.
“Many celebrities have come to Ghent over the past five decades to present their films,” the organisation said.
Celebrities such as Andy García, Colin Farrell and Agnès Varda will be displayed in large scale all over the city – as well as on social networks.
In addition to this unique collection of photos, the organisation is also unveiling a podcast in collaboration with De Morgen. The first episode will be launched in mid-August.
The 50th edition of the Ghent Film Festival kicks off on 10 October.
