The first edition of Poetik Bazar, Brussels’ bilingual poetry market, will be held from 24 to 26 September at BE-HERE, behind Tour & Taxis.
It will feature a salon of French- and Dutch-language publishers, readings, open workshops for young and old, performances and debates.
The event is intended as a showcase for “Belgium’s vibrant literary scene.”
“In order to arouse the curiosity of a wide audience, performances and readings will enliven the BE-HERE," the organisers say. "Creative workshops will be specially designed for children aged six and upwards, as will a poetry tea party with Victoire de Changy and Marine Schneider.”
