Proximus has made mobile and landline calls and text messages from Belgium to Morocco free for all its customers.
The Belgian telecoms operator made the announcement on Saturday following a major earthquake in the North African country on Friday night.
Proximus added that it took the decision in order to show solidarity with Morocco and facilitate communication between victims, families and friends.
"In a situation like this, nothing is more important than being able to interact with loved ones abroad," the operator noted.
The offer will last until Tuesday inclusive and also applies to the company's subsidiaries Scarlet and Mobile Vikings.
