A person was wounded in an overnight shooting on Friday in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean.
The Brussels prosecutor’s office confirmed the incident, which happened close to Bonnevie Park around midnight. The injured individual was taken to hospital; however, their life was not deemed to be in danger.
In response to the incident, the police established a security perimeter, and a forensic investigation was initiated, including reviewing surveillance camera footage.
