Train services between Gent and Brugge have been halted on Sunday morning due to a collision.
The incident happened around 5 am between Torhout and Lichtervelde. Rail travel was already diverted this weekend through Lichtervelde due to track works.
Replacement bus services are in operation between Gent and Brugge, SNCB confirms.
Buses also run between Lichtervelde and Brugge. The duration of the disruption remains uncertain.
