TUI fly airline has once again delayed the launch of flights between Antwerp Airport and the Israeli city of Tel Aviv until at least late September, the company announced on Friday.
Originally set for mid-December 2023, the flight's inaugural voyage was first postponed to March due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas. However, TUI fly has stated that conditions on the ground remain too precarious and has pushed the new start date to 25 September 2024.
Customers who booked a flight have been informed of the delay and will receive a full refund. Those wishing to rebook for a future date can contact TUI fly to arrange travel at the original conditions.
The news comes just one day after leading Irish airline Ryanair announced it would resume flights to and from Tel Aviv from 1 February.
