European Union member states “need to accept that they must do more” to arm Ukraine, according to Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.
Mr De Croo was visiting Ukraine’s Parliament in Kiev, representing the EU as part of Belgium’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. He acknowledged that European nations were not supplying sufficient ammunition and military aircraft to assist Ukraine in countering Russian forces.
“We must accept that we have to do more, we have to do better, especially when you don’t have the necessary resources,” the Belgian Prime Minister said.
