Brussels Airport expects huge crowds this weekend, as holidaymakers gear up for the peak travel month of August.
The influx of passengers is likely to result in long queues, of which there are already many given the travel chaos across several airports in Europe.
The airport advises going straight to border control once checked in if the trip is outside the Schengen area.
Passengers are well advised to arrive ahead of time, given that July and August are the busiest for tourism. According to the EU's Statistical Office, Eurostat, 43% of tourism in the EU takes place in July and August.
