The Classissimo classical music festival is set to return, running from 7 to 13 August 2024 at the Royal Park Theatre in Brussels.

This 18th edition will be headed up by Belgian flautist Marc Grauwels, who succeeds founder Georges Dumortier at the helm of the festival.

Dubbed 'Classics Without Borders,' the event offers patrons the opportunity to relish works from Strauss, Debussy, Ravel, Sarasate and Mozart.

Performances will feature, among others, French pianist Pascal Amoyel and a bevy of talented Belgians, including violinists Elsa de Lacerda and Pauline van der Rest, pianist Florian Noack, clarinettist Ronald Van Spaendonck, and the rising musical star, violinist Alice Sinacori.

True to its tradition, Classissimo will continue to spotlight young virtuosos, providing some with their first opportunity to command the stage.
