American-Canadian singer Neil Young will perform in Belgium in June. He will perform at Place des Palais in Brussels' city centre as part of a new summer event.

After an absence of six years, the 79-year-old folk-rock legend will return to Belgium for a unique open-air concert on Monday 30 June. The singer, known for the classics 'Harvest Moon', 'Heart of Gold' and 'Down by the River' and many more, will be taking to the stage in the heart of the capital as part of the first edition of a new music event, Brussels Palace Open Air, promoters Gracia Live confirmed.

"Fans will have the opportunity to experience the legendary artist's greatest hits and timeless classics live in one of the most beautiful places in our capital," the organisers noted. "With Neil Young as the first name in this open-air concept, we immediately bring one of the most iconic artists to one of the most iconic places in our capital."

The show is part of the European leg of his recently announced Love Earth World Tour. The Old Continent opening night will be on 18 June in Sweden. A few weeks ago, Young unveiled a new track, ‘Big Change’, alongside his band The Chrome Hearts.
